Dr. Neha Jain

Research Fellow & Academic Coordinator
Neha is a public health researcher with the Public Health Foundation of India. She is a dental surgeon with a master’s in Dental Public Health from University College London. She has been extensively involved in outreach programmes and oral health awareness campaigns in the past. She has worked with the Public Health England, Health Education England and National Health Services (NHS) in oral health promotion and driving sugar reduction campaigns across the United Kingdom. In her current capacity, she is focused on the control and reduction of the risk factors of non-communicable diseases, especially tobacco. She is working on developing and implementing health promotion intervention in schools, colleges and workplaces. She has also worked with state governments and different civil society organisations in India to raise awareness on the need for better tobacco cessation measures. She has presented her research on adolescent health and sugar reduction at international conferences.
